Content Match Notification sending 100's emails

Hello,

I have the content filter running and was trying to test the email notification. When I send an IM message to test the filter, I receive in excess of 500 emails for the one IM message. What’s wrong here?

Content Filter plugin is not supported by its author anymore so it is hard to help you with this.

Many thanks. Turned off IM alert and just allowed alert via email. Works a treat now . Thanks
