Conversion of "\+" to "+"

Once again a very annoying issue if one wants to post “
*” one needs to enter “
*” in the forum, otherwise “+” is displayed.

While I understand that Java uses \ as an escape sequence I hate it if texts get broken.

And [ and ] do very similar things, is not a valid URL and so one could display [foo] instead. Most URL’'s start with ftp ok, once again for you: with [ftp|mms|http://…] and if one wants to link inside the forum they usually start with /.

Thanks for the feedback. It should be possible to get just the syntax working like you suggest – I don’‘t see a need for the extra slash. We’'ll check it out.
