Could not connect to Oracle, in admin console

I’ve installed OpenFire Community 3.4.5 on Linux (by RPM)

In the admin console, external database setup :

  • Choose Oracle

  • Driver : oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

  • url : jdbc:oracle:thin:@ares:1521:mydb

account/password ok (Accoutn created, grant to connect OK) : test the connection from my desktop : OK

The Database is remote from the OpenFire Server : this database is reachable from this server (we currently have web applications connected to this Oracle Instance)

Database Release : 10.2.0.3.0

Downloaded http://download.oracle.com/otn/utilities_drivers/jdbc/10203/ojdbc14.jar

Error in the logs, could not obtain connection (trace in attachment)

Dis someone already encountered this problem?
