Could Openfire connect to Apache Directory Server?

Hi all,

I use Openfire Server to connect to Apache Directory Server and I get the message “Error verifying base DN. Verify that the value is correct.”

But I use JXplorer to connect to Apache Directory Server is ok. I sure you that I use the same account to connect Apache Directory Server.

So, I have a question “Could Openfire connect to Apache Directory Server?” If yes, how to configure it?

Please give me a step by step instruction.

I’m interested in the answer too. I’m having the same issue. Connecting to ApacheDS with the Apache Directory Studio works fine.

Okay, it seems to be the combination between Openfire and the ApacheDS. I tried OpenLDAP and OpenDS. Both worked fine with Openfire from scratch.
