Could you describe steps how to simulate users and traffic for testing WF?

I expect 5K-7K concurrent users with medium rosters (150 items) and low connection/disconnection rate (20/50).

In fact personally I use a client written in Erlang called tsung. It simulates on one (or several) machine several users.

You can define the scenarios you want to play.

There are other ways probably but if you plan to use tsung I can help you.

I have also written Perl scripts to generate SQL requests to populate the Wildfire database.

Tell me if you are interested and I can send you the script, give you an example to your need.

If you want to use tsung, we can work together to write a scenario

But for 7000 users you will need a dedicated machine. For such a purpose tests with a single Xeon 2Gb is enough but I can;t give you more details related to the hardware configuration needs on client side because I never focused on it until now.
