Hi,
I´m planning to install Jive Messenger in the company I work. We´ve 3 office´s in different cities and same departments in some. So, i would like to create a group to each office and inside the departments. Is that possible?
Thanks.

Give more details and maybe examples of structure you want to create. Which client you are going to use? Group nesting could be a helpful feature here i think. We use Exodus, so with this client you can do in such way.
Create groups: office1_dep1(display name: Office1/Department1), office1_dep2(Office1/Department2), office2_dep1(Office2/Department1), office2_dep2(Office2/Department2).
So in Exodus it will look like:
Office1
— Department1
— Department2
Office2
— Department1
— Department2
/code
There is no option to create real subgroups in JM yet. So this is only a workaround, but it works fine for us
The structure is kind of you wrote. I´m using the Pandium as my client, more because the language (Portuguese-BR), but I will try this with Exodus, thanks!
