Customizeable Client

Hi,

I’m very new at Openfire. I’m searching an easy(!) to customize Client. I want not to change much. Only the logo and colors, of my community. Is this possible with Spark? If yes, how? Is there another Client, to make this, in easy way? I woeld pay for this.

You can read this doc http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/docs/DOC-1360 Though maybe you won’t find everything there. It’s not so easy to make custom Spark version, but it surely possible as Spark is open-source and you can modify its source for your needs. Maybe you should find a java developer to do this for you.

I programmed in Java, some years ago. Perhaps, I can do this by myself. But I find no sorces? I looked at http://svn.igniterealtime.org/svn/repos/spark/tags but there are no java Files.

Hi,

I have downloaded the sources from SVN. I have followed the given Tutorial. Ant pulls out no Errors, by buildung. But I can’t start it. When I try to start the startup.bat I get this Error:

What to do now?

Hi,

I find the solution by myself. I crawled the sources some hours and notice, that the Tutorial is to old. I don’t have to make any changes in the java Files, it’s all in property or xml Files and realy easy. I’ve test a little bit and it works fine.

The only thing is… how do I use the provided themes? I don’t get this…

I want to brand my spark. This means, renaming it, change the logo and make a red skin, so that its look fit to www.gruftiradio.de
