Customizing smack-config.xml?

Hello!

What is the best way to customize the Smack configuration found in smack-config.xml. Unfortunately I can’t figure out, how to override the config file smack.jar:META-INF/smack-config.xml. I can’t believe, that I should change this file directly (so unzip the jar, edit the config, jar it again), since this should be something like the default values.

I would really be glad about a hint!

What exactly do you want to achieve? You are right, there is usually no need to modify those files directly, as they just provide defaults.
