hey guys am just wondering if i can just use openfire for logging in and chat features on my app but still use the same database with just added tables through php for photos and post and thinks like that cuz this suck how hard they made it for you to be able to integrate any tables into the DB from openfire without having to change the source code.
Nobody did it on purpose, you know. Openfire was first designed as a simple chat server without any future possible integrations in mind (15+ years ago nobody knew what will be needed in future). I think in this case you should look into HybridProvider, but i can’t give any specific info. Maybe it only involves changing system properties, maybe still some code. Try searching in the forums.
