Detecting incoming new chats

Hi,

Is there a way to detect incoming new chats? I thought I could hold the chats IDs in a list and scan each incoming chat packet to see but is there a Smacker way?

We don’‘t have a good solution in place for this at the moment, although it’'s on the list of things to do.
