When discovery some account using iq, whether can we know the presence of it( my account have not subscribed with the account).

For security reasons, XMPP servers will not expose a user’‘s presence to another user unless the user has previously authorized the other user to see his presence. Our server, Jive Messenger, has a presence plugin that you can configure to expose users presences even if you the user didn’'t authorize you. We are planning to add the same functionality to the search plugin. Anyway, these modifications that we implemented or are going to implement are non-standard and should be used with caution.
