Had a quick search but couldn’t see this one anywhere. For my uni work, I’ve built a ton of apps that use the pubsub feature of openfire for their message exchange. As I’ve now moved alot of this to googlecode along with ant build scripts, I’d really like to offer a working openfire server out of the box so that people can just be up and running without having to make the 30ish accounts all my stuff needs.
I’m thinking of just zipping up a windows & unix version, so people can just download that and run, just using local db, and run on 127.0.0.1.
I can’t see any problems on the license with this, no rebranding on anything, no changes to the source, so I think I can just zip up the binary?
Or am I missing something?
