DNS-Resolution problems

Hi,

my jabberserver (nerdcologne.de) is not able to connect to other hosts. It worked perfectly till last week. I did not change any things at the system. Here is the output of the logfiles:

Errorlog:

http://www.nerdcologne.de/error.log

Warnlog:

http://www.nerdcologne.de/warn.log

I have no idea what happend. The servers os is a virtual debian sarge (openvz). Java version 6. The connection problem to other servers is the only one, all the other features work perfect (icq gateway etc.). There are enough resources, no failcounts in /proc/user_beancounter. Utils like nslookup / ping have got no problems with finding the hosts…

Any idea?

thanks,

Felix

I solved this strange problem. It was the fault of my domain provider. He updated the SRV-Records in the DNS to wrong values. I do not know, why my server threw UnknownHostExceptions but since it deleted the wrong SRV the Jabberserver works again
