does smack api supports lattest jabberd server

Smack is an XMPP library that may connect with any XMPP server. Being Jabberd an XMPP server it’'s possible to use Smack to connect to it. However, you should know that not all the servers (and clients) implement the XMPP spec completely so sometimes you may find some problems. FYI, we use Jive Messenger (our open source XMPP server) and Smack (our open source XMPP client-library).
