Edit profile with non-english characters. Bug

I have Spark 1.1.0 (and i try 1.0.4). When i edit profile and type in First Name[/b], for example, russian characters, after saving profile becomes empty.

Please, fix it.

Hi Marrab,

I can confirm this for other non ASCII characters like “ue” / ü in a name like Müller (one will see ? where the non ASCII character was as also this forum does not support UTF-8). It is stored in the database as M\u00fcller but Spark displays nothing.

The same problem when profile fields maps from LDAP with non-english symbols in fields.

Was able to reproduce. Will fix for Spark 1.1.1. You can track the issue with SPARK-218.
