I’'ve been using Spark all of one day now, and I like it, with two minor exceptions:

I’'m really old school, and seeing emoticons turned into their graphical equivalent is just like nails on a chalkboard to me. A feature to disable this conversion would be very much appreciated.

I really like the “Toast Popups” when a message comes in, but it’‘s really annoying to have those popups, well, “pop up” when I’'ve already got the chat window in the foreground. If my window is already in the foreground, the Toast Popup becomes a major distraction. Providing either a way to configure the beahavior of these popups or making them a little smarter without additional configuration would be a great thing to have, too.
Overall, I must commend the authors of Spark. It took me about 15 seconds to get it set up and connected to my company’'s internal Jabber server, which is more than I can say for the other clients on which I wasted hours trying to get work.
