When I installed Openfire on a new machine and attempted to set as service, it was saying “Error 193: 0xc1” when I attempted to turn it on.
Machine is Windows 2003 Standard.
Alright. What fixed this was going into the registry to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Openfire
And adding double quotes around the image name. Might just be a fluke, but now it runs as a service unquestioningly.
