I am obviously missing something stupid. I have all my users added, and all works well. Now I am trying to make a chat room and I get the error " Error creating the room. You do not have enough privileges to create rooms. "
What could be wrong?
Are you trying to create room in Admin Console or in the client? Check Group Chat > Room Creation Permissions in Admin Console.
Hey Donn,
You have restricted the list of users that are allowed to create group chat rooms and the user that logged to the Admin Console does not have permissions to create a room. Try adding the bare JID (eg. john@server.com) of the user that you are using in the Admin Console as a sysadmin or as a user that is allowed to create rooms.
