Error deploying red5

Hello all,

I recently downloaded the red5 war file and dropped it into the Openfire3.3.0/plugins directory and am getting the following error:

I am not sure if this is a Openfire deployment error or a red5 error.

Any Ideas?

TIA

Perhaps a re-install of Openfire?

Can you confirm what version of the red5 plugin you downloaded.

Dele,

thanks for the response.

I downloaded the latest from here.

version 0.0.8 dated May 4th.

I believe that is the version I had previously.

I am still getting the same error.

Thanks.

I have just downloaded it and upgraded my server from 0.0.7 to 0.0.8. I am unable to reproduce the error you have. I have also looked at the openfire source code to check

org.jivesoftware.openfire.container.PluginManager.loadPlugin(PluginManager.java: 462)

Error loading plugin: C:\Program Files\Openfire\plugins\red5

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/jivesoftware/wildfire/container/Plugin

I can’'t find anthing in the red5 plugin still pointing at wildfire.

Are you sure that you are using the final release of openfire 3.3.0??

Dele,

thanks.

I verified that I have 3.3.0.

I am going to be rebuilding my development machine.

I will download the latest red5 and openfire and see if I am successful.

Let me just verify the following:

  1. Drop red5.war under Openfire/plugins. (war file extracts automatically)

  2. Navigate to http://machineName:8080/red5/

Thanks.
