I have this error as well on a new installation version 4.7.1.

What version of Pade are you using? Exactly what do you do to trigger the problem?

I am pulling down the latest version from giuthub. I have also tried the version that comes down from the “available plugins” page from ignite’s site. All I do is upload the plugin via the admin console. It appears to install successfully; but I get the above error when i click on the “pade” tab in the menu.

“The latest” is somewhat ambiguous. Please refer to https://discourse.igniterealtime.org/t/openfire-pade-1-6-1-released/ to see what version of Pade is expected to work with what version of Openfire.

Version 1.6.1

This is the version we used following Pade’s installation instructions.

Can you please confirm your OF admin web console for Pade looks something like this with green ticks and no RED crosses on the components.

Otherwise, look at your log files for any errors and start from there.

The web console for Pade never loads. As soon as I click on the Pade button on the menu, the page that comes up looks like the original poster’s error.

Look at your openfire.log file :face_with_monocle:
