am trying to configure the Fastpath Webchat and the server name is “example.com” (for posting purposes, I am replacing real domain with example.com). However, example.com DNS records points to another server (main webserver for example). Also the config does not let me to save the example.com.
I have the server named example.com so all the openfire users are user@example.com. I have also tried to use the IP as the server name but that does not work either.
Is there anything else I can do so I can keep the openfire server name to be:example.com and have the DNS pointed elsewhere? Editing the hosts file is not an option as I am running other services that need to correctly find example.com
