We have had Openfire in-house for quite some time. Only recently have we decided to investigate Fastpath Webchat as a means of improving our helpdesk support. We would like to use Fastpath to queue in-house support requests to different members of the IT staff depending on category and type of request. It is also desirable to offer remote workers the Fastpath option as well. It sounds to me that Fastpath can offer all of the above with Webchat and Spark IM client. I have a few questions I hope can be answered:
Will Fastpath Webchat install on Windows Server 2003 or higher?
Should the Webchat installation reside on a separate server than my Openfire server?
Has anyone achieved the desired result within a VM?
