This is a little out there, but I would like a forum plugin that would send me an IM and if I’'m online, give me a timeframe to write a response and have it automatically add it to the post as a reply

Yep, that would be a great feature. Look for some interesting integrations between forums and IM from us in the near future…

Yep, that will be there as well as improved integration with group chat. We’'ll be rolling out a lot of the features for testing on jivesoftware.org so you guys will be some of the first ones to get to see the new stuff.
