Force Client Contact Groups from Server

Forgive me if this has been addressed already or if its a RTFM deal… I just cant seem to find too much to address what I want to do.

My question is this:

Is there a way to force contact groups on the client from the Wildfire server?

I have set up two rosters (IT and IS) and set them to “Show group in all users’’ rosters”, but only once did I see the names listed under offline group on the Spark client (dont see any contacts anywhere now). When I select “Show empty groups” it only adds the “unfiled” group, but I want to see an IT and IS contact group with the members of the groups under them. Am I mistaken about what the server-side rosters are supposed to do?

Ok, found out what I needed to do.

It ends up that in order for Wildfire to recognize the new groups, the server has to be restarted. Doing so isnt too much of an issue at my company, but I could see that being a pretty big hurdle for others. Is it like this for everyone? Or something not set up quite right on my implementation?

you may have hit JM-658 and there are some more unresolved issues with shared groups.
