Force outgoing connections on a specific IP?

We have a multi-homed machine that hosts OpenFire along with 2 other services. Each service is set for a specific IP address so that we can better control the traffic through our firewall. We have configured OpenFire to listen on a specific IP address but it seems that outgoing connections to the IM servers (AIM & MSN) are made on the default IP address on the machine. This makes it block the traffic at our firewall because we’re looking for it on a different IP.

Is there any possible way to force this on a specific IP?
