Getting BOSH with Strophe Working

Hi,

I have installed OpenFire. Our web server is accessible from port 3333. We want to use BOSH with Strophe to get push working. Googling and the forum gave no results. Is this possible with OpenFire?

All the calls to http-bind keep failing due to Cross Domain issues. Any solutions?

What is your bosh url? Make sure your crossdomain.xml file is accessible from your browser. You should be able to see it if you visit the crossdomain url.

There are two ways of doing this.

The easy way (use the jetty web server in Openfire)

Copy your web application folder to OPENFIRE_HOME/resources/spank,
Change the HTTP-BIND ports in Openfire from 7070/7443 to 80/443 and
Access as http://my_openfire_server/webapp_folder_name.
Your BOSH URL is either /http-bind/ or http://my_openfire_server/http-bind/

**The difficult way (use your web server) **

Configure your web server to forward all http://my_webserver/http-bind/ requests to http://my_openfire_server:7070/http-bind/. This varies from web server to web server
