I’‘m able to connect to Google’'s Talk server just fine, but when attempting to message anyone I receive the following in the traffic log:
<message id=“009Xa-18” to="xxxxxxx@gmail.com/spark" from="xxxxxxx@gmail.com" type=“error”>
<body>Hey!</body>
<thread>utONHr</thread>
<error code=“400” type=“MODIFY”>
<bad-request xmlns=“urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-stanzas”/>
<text xmlns=“urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-stanzas” xml:lang=“en”>If set, the ‘‘from’’ attribute must be set to the user’'s full JID.</text>
</error>
<x xmlns=“jabber:x:event”>
<offline/>
<composing/>
</x>
</message>
Also, not all of my online contacts show up as actually being online, but I’‘m able to receive their messages. My sent messages never show up in my online Google Talk logs in GMail. Is this an issue with Google’'s implementation, or is there something I can do to fix it?
