We have a requirement that we should not share user ids between users hence we cannot add shared group feature to user roaster but some users requires to send broadcast message to a particular group of users and the list of the users in that group is increasing.Is there a possiblity to create a group id on server just like we do in email system.

you can create subscriptions form one user (eg admin) “to” another instead of “both”. So only “admin” can see the other users in a group but not vice versa. One can do this in the admin console using the user / roster management. But it’s quite hard to configure the subscriptions this way.

Hi there am expecting some solution on this as this has kept this project on hold.The solution given by LG is not feasible as this will require high administration hours and manpower.
