[HeLP] Setup local MySQL DB for openfire by using XAMPP

Hello,
I am just new to openfire.
Will you please clarify my doubts/problems?

  1. Better OS to host openfire?
  2. Setup localhost database using xampp/wamp for openfire
  3. Convert HsqLDB to MYsqL
  4. Cant connect other DB when i proceed standard database and put all Mysql DB credentials.

You should clarify. It is hard to understand are these questions or problems.

  1. What you are most familiar with.
  2. Unless i don’t know of a tool to do that. There is that https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf56/migrating-from-hsqldb-to-mysql-658737210.html but i wasn’t able to try this out.
