HELP with Jive Messenger on LINUX

I install Jive properly on RH Linux. I go to URL and start the initial setup. Once I setup the admin account details, it tells me to restart the messenger server and to login to the admin console.

I do that and go back to the admin console link, and I get this page saying that ‘‘your initial setup is complete, please login to the admin console’’. I click on the link, and it takes me back to the same page again and again, telling me to click on the admin console. So basically I am in a loop, can anyone help me out on this?

I think you have problem with permissions. User ‘‘jive’’ must be the owner of Messenger home folder (default is /opt/jive_messenger).

You have to restart JM before loging in.

/opt/jive_messenger/bin/messenger stop

/opt/jive_messenger/bin/messenger start
