How do I user the registration plugin?

Hi,

I’'m a new admin and have a server running on Win200 like a dream. All our clients are using pandion.

I’'d like to know how I user the registration plugin to be notified on new user registrations.

Also, do I need to let the server know that my account is an admin? does that give me any further client side controls?

When the registration.jar is dropped under the plugins folder Messenger will install it. After the plugin has been installed you will have new menu options in the Admin Console. Check Users/Groups → Registration Properties. You will need to enable the registration notification and sepicify the name of the user that will get the notifications.

Being able to enter in the Admin Console (ie. being a Messenger admin) does not give you any special level of access on the clients.
