How to disable file transfers

Ref: Wildfire (Non Enterprise)

Firstly, let me say this is a great tool, and I am new to these forums.

I just wanted to know if there is a way to disable the file transfers. I’'ve set the File Transfer Proxy Settings to disable, but it still allows transfers from client to client.

Does it use the same port as the instant messaging?

Or is it only included in the Enterprise edition?

Sorry to ask these questions, as you’'ve probably heard them all before.

some clients like Spark support three file transfer options, see http://www.igniterealtime.org/support/articles/filetransfer.jsp

The Enterprise Plugin allows to block filetransfers by blocking the well-known standards.

One can of course extend the xmpp protocol to add another file transfer option which will not be blocked.
