Hi All,
I have been trying to look for a solution for an issue of sending message to offline users. I was googling for PUSH notifications for Openfire Server. There seems to be no correct answer for that… This seems like an issue that almost everyone would face if they are implementing the Openfire backend.
Could the Admins or Experts please reply. I have seen unanswered questions from 2014 and 2013 .
What should we do
- Use Google Cloud messaging
- Use the following plugin .meisterfuu/Openfire-GCM: GCM Bridge Plugin for Openfire
Any help is appreciated.
