How to invite Google Talk users to Spark/Openfire

Hello,

I’m using the gateway plugin, which makes it possible to login with a gmail account into Spark.

What I want is that users without a gmail account, can invite google talk users in Spark and that Google talk users can add openfire users.

Everything is working and I can connect to from the internet to the openfire server.

Thanks in advance

I have the feeling it has something to do with the DNS… openfire error log shows when I invite a gmail account to Spark: “error trying to connect to remote server: gmail.com(DNS lookup: gmail.com:5269)”

Inviting a jabber.org account gives no problem. jabber.org is shown in the server session table.

I’m directly connected to the internet without any firewalls and all ports are redirected to the openfire server.

Is it possible it has something to do with this: http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=60227
