hi all, there have some user whose username have the format of email, like username1@domain.com, it seems that the tail-part behind ‘@’ has been removed by openfire automatically if the tail-part is not same with the openfire domain name, so can not login. how to let it work well with the full name username1@domain.com?
If you search forums for ‘escaping @’ you will find many threads about this, some examples:

So, you should escape @ character, but your client needs to support this too. Not sure if Spark can work with escaped usernames. If 2.5.8 or 2.6.0 Beta 2 won’t do, you can try the latest version from http://bamboo.igniterealtime.org/browse/SPARK-INSTALL4J-44/artifact/Install4j
