How to limit searching users to a AD group(s)?

Hi, we now implementing the OpenFire Server with the lates Spark beta in our company as a messenger communication service.

So far so good…

  • How do i limit the users where returned by a spark search to just a AD security group?

  • How can i limit the access to the OpenFire server through the same security group?

  • Is ther a easy single sign on with windows clients and a AD without installing local stuff to get this working?

if you want to limit access to the server to a single security group then you need to setup a a user filter based on that group or groups. There is no simple way to do SSO. Every AD system makes it slightly different too. Use these docs for reference:
