How to migrate OpenFire server from a windows platform into linux?
Is it posible?
Im running OpenFire 3.6.3 on a windows 2003 server. We are planning to migrate it into linux, particulary CentOS 5.
Has anyone done this before?

You don’t say what DB system you are currently using.
I did this from NT4 (I know, ancient) to CentOS 5 using MySQL. It was simply a case of doing the main install of Openfire and MySQL, creating the table then backup / restoring the data.
If I recall, I had to do some manipulation of the backup file as in CentOS, the table names are case sensitive and windows was all lower case.
