HTTP ERROR 500 after upgrading to Openfire 3.10.2

Hi, after upgrading to 3.10.2 I cannot login to the admin console. I followed the steps. I have been using openfire for many years. Is there a fix or plan to do so in a short time? or its suggested to downgrade as I have seen in other posts? Thanks for any help.

I’m encountering this issue also after upgrading from 3.9.1 to 30.10.2. I’m on Windows 7 and I built openfire from source using maven and copied my old configuration over. I run the hazelcast and search plugins. I used JDK 1.8.

Sorry, I know this is not useful but I was able to get it working by simply recompiling. I may have been missing the admin dashboard plugin but I’m not completely clear. Good luck.

Hi Joseph thanks. Unfortunately my skills aren´t enough to proceed with your suggestion. Nevertheless what I am surprised is that even there have been more than 225 visits to my case no one representing the applications has responded. Any way these things happens when there is no cost involved. Best regards.

Hi,

you need to preserve the new plugin/admin folder and the plugin/search.war file.

Be careful when you upgrade not overwrite these new apps.
