HTTPBind (JEP-0124) support in Wildfire?

Hi

Does anyone know if Wildfire 2.5.0 supports JEP-0124 ?

If no, is it in its road map?

Hi Shrek,

Wildfire itself does afaik not support JEP-0124. Anyhow a java open source implementation is available here: http://zeank.in-berlin.de/jhb/

If you want also a somehow usable web client you may use JWChat http://jwchat.sourceforge.net/

Tomcat + wildfire.war + jwchat.war (probably also JabberHTTPBind0.3.war if you don’'t want the web-based client) are easy to setup.

Adding support for url=http://www.jabber.org/jeps/jep-0124.htmlJEP-124: HTTP Binding[/url] is in our roadmap. We have to find some spare time to implement it but it’'s high in our TODO list.

BTW, one of our goals is to reach 100% in the features score in the following url=http://www.jabber.org/software/servers.shtmlmatrix[/url]. And HTTP Binding is in that matrix so you can rest sure that we are going to add support for it. Right now we have reached 98%.
