IAX Devices

I have the plug-in working perfectly for SIP devices, but i have one person using an IAX softphone and it doesn’'t seem to work for them.

Device: IAX/493

Extension: 493

Something I read made it seem like the plug also supports IAX devices. Is this not correct? Am I doing somethign wrong?

The plugin should support IAX devices, but I have never tested it against an IAX device.

I have created the issue PHONE-25 to explore this more.

Does anyone know any good IAX softphones that work with Mac OS X to test with?

you must call your device IAX2/493 instead of IAX/493

http://iaxclient.sourceforge.net/iaxcomm/ has an OSX IAX Softphone if you’'re still looking for one.
