ICQ gateway bug?

Hello.

I’m using Openfire 3.5.0 with database at MS SQL 2005 SP2 on single server Win2003Std R2 SP2. Users and kerberos authentication with MS AD on Win2003Std SP2 domain controller. Clients is Spark 2.5.8 and Spark 2.6.0b. All OK but ICQ gateway works strange:

  1. sometime i detect that my status at ICQ in Spark Online, but external users says that my status is Offline;

  2. when i sending message to external user through Spark then that user did’nt receive anything;

  3. when external user sending message to me then again i did’nt receive anything;

  4. after Spark restart ICQ works again but messages from external users that was sent to me earlier lost

In warn.log that message:

2008.07.06 20:41:43 Error or result packet could not be delivered

<iq type=“error” id=“423-11504” from="MYUSER@jabber.domain.ru" to="EXTICQNUMBER@icq.jabber.domain.ru">

</x>

</options>

</pubsub>

<error code=“403” type=“auth”>

<forbidden xmlns=“urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-stanzas”/>

</error>

</iq>

What is it mean ?

I’m confused about what I’m seeing there. pubsub? The IM Gateway plugin doesn’t even remotely support pubsub! =) This is Spark making this request??? I wasn’t aware Spark supported pubsub!

But this message in logs. from where ?

Before Openfire installation i was using this ICQ number in Miranda.

That I don’t know. What plugins are you running with Spark? (if any) That log entry shouldn’t really correspond with ICQ not working though.

I’m running these plugins:

IM Gateway 1.2.3

Openfire Enterprise 3.5.0

Presence Service 1.4.0

SASL Mechanisms 0.2

Search 1.4.2

Subscription 1.2.0

What can cause strange ICQ work ?

Sorry, not on the server, but on your Spark client,

I am using Spark 2.5.8 from page http://www.igniterealtime.org/downloads/download-landing.jsp?file=spark/spark_2_ 5_8.msi

(spark_2_5_8.msi MSI package, includes Java JRE November 14, 2007 42.76 MB) and

Spark 2.6.0 BETA from theme Spark 2.6.0 BETA Releases! (http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/message/173107#173107)

with default set of plugins.

2.6.0:

FastPath 3.2.1
