Is there a way to have tell OpenFire 3.6.2 to ingore groups in LDAP (Active Directory). Currently our users build their own groups in their Spark rosters. The groups we have in AD just are not practical for use as Spark Roster groups. I see lots of errors in OpenFire logs for LDAPGroupProvider.GetGroup for groups that are user roster groups and not groups in our AD. How can I get OpenFire to stop wasting it’s time and resources trying to find these groups?
backup the current setting in this system property and then clear it: provider.group.className
You will need to reboot openfire.
