Is there any known problem in 1.2.3a? I see some forum posts about 1.2.3 but I can’t find it. Is “a” newer than 1.2.3?

Every time I run the TEST for MSN, no matter what, I get FAILED… When I run TCP dumps, I see this, which looks fine to me:
