I’m implementing File Transfer for our Xiff project. I’m using Smack’s implementation as an example.
Has anyone done any progress on this?
Initially I’m starting to migrate Java to Flex code. If anyone’s interested in giving a hand (technical knowledge, code, etc.) you’re welcome!
We’ll try to send the Contributor Agreement to Jive Software soon.

Did you finish this task. Are you able to do the file transfer using XIFF library. I am very much interested in using this feature for our project.
Given that this was started over two years ago, it might be that nothing happened…

and the spec http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0231.html

How’s it going? I left the job back then and the project was abandoned shortly after that. I don’t know if there was any progress other than what I started doing.
Sorry I don’t have any code right here to share. If I find the old backups something may come up but I don’t remember how much progress we made.

Right now adding SI version of file transfer:
