I’ve been attempting to import a SSL certificate that I have created and had signed by a CA. I have followed numerous guides (using keytool most of the time), reinstalled OpenFire at least 3 times in the process and it still has failed to work properly.
As a last resort, I have tried using the “Import Signed Certificate” page again and, like normal, it tosses me an error: “There was an error one importing private key and signed certificate.”
I’m very frustrated with how OpenFire handles importing SSL certificates and I’d like to find a way that actually works.
