Hi everyone. I’m new to the forums and am seeking some help. I have a domain hosted at network solutions. There is a certifcate from network solutions loaded into and it works. I have gotten a wildcard cert from comodo for my domain also. *.domain.org.
What I want to do is use it in openfire to secure https so I can use the webchat features over a secure connection. Port 9091. However, everytime I import the cert, https becomes inaccessible. I want my subdomain to be chat.domain.org. I get the cert imported and immediatly there is no https access. Web pages just time out.
I’ve tried importing the cert using the keytool and right through the UI with no luck.
Help and guidance would be very much appreciated.
