This is fully functional adobe air based instant messenger made using xiff and xiffgui example , http://code.google.com/p/imshack/ .
The project is in no way complete but yet the most important features are implemented .
-Notification of messages .
-sound notification .
-voice and video chat .
-minimize to tray .
-automatic startup .
The project is fully opensource and you are most welcome to commit to the project (Download from trunk and import in flex ), I know i am a very lousy programmer so the code is very clumsy and uncommented sorry for that , maybe i will clean it in near future .
