I was hoping someone has developed a Spark plugin to disable the advance functions on the Spark Chat client. My company wants to restrict the ability for end -users to connect to other chat servers using XMPP ie Google talk or if someone has developed a Spark Lite client that doesn’t allow the end user to modify the connection other than the openfire server. If anyone can assist it would be appreciated.
Your company can restrict the access to other servers at your network firewall. Just block all the ports associated with the various protocols except for your openfire server’s IP address. This will prevent people from using any other chat servers other than your own.
