I’'m working on Jabber protocols to develope an instance messenger and i am supposed going to use wildfire-2.4.4.So,is it support all the jabber-clients like gaim,whisperim,tipic…?Is there any limitation in term of number of clients?And is it support file-transport protocol?And what are the system requirements?
You can use just about any XMPP client, including the ones you listed. You should be able to handle several thousands users on a server without too many problems. Finally, yes, Wildfire does support file transfer and see the docs for requirements (it runs on just about anything).
