I have installed openfire and gone through the setup screens after installation. When it comes to the last page and asks you if you want to login as administrator, it goes back to the beginning of the setup screens. I have restarted it and it does the same thing. Any ideas?
Make sure there are no multiple openfire processes running at the same time. Also, do you have write permissions in /openfire/conf folder as installation has to change openfire.xml file.
Also, with 3.6.4 version you shouldn’t push that Login to Admin Console button in the end of the setup, because you won’t be able to login. You have to restart server when this screen is shown.
